Dr. Oliver Niehörster

During his computer science studies at the University of Paderborn, Oliver Niehörster specialized in machine learning and robotics at the C-Lab. Alongside his doctorate at PC2, he worked at Fujitsu in the Professional Service and CTO Office. This allowed him to gain extensive experience, particularly with distributed systems, large-scale data, cloud computing, open-source software, and innovation projects. Before founding iplus1, he worked as CTO for Distributed Systems and Data Science in Fujitsu's product business.

Philipp Adelt

CTO

Following his diploma thesis on embedded systems in IT environments, Philipp Adelt continued to research and publish in the field of self-optimizing mechatronic systems. Before founding iplus1, he has been the Head of IT for a Bielefeld-based manufacturing company with a high degree of vertical integration and extreme variant diversity. He was responsible for processes ranging from sensor data acquisition to the customer interface, where innovative, pragmatic solutions help renovate a classic Hidden Champion.

Michael Burnicki

Michael Burnicki studied electrical engineering with a focus on automation technology at the University of Paderborn. He has years of experience in consulting projects with major clients in the IT industry, including data center monitoring, where he has registered a patent. Before founding iplus1, he was responsible for the architecture and development of software for big data infrastructures, data preprocessing of heterogeneous, unstructured data, and Complex Event Processing at Fujitsu.
