ICLMobil - a successful project ends
ICLMobil is a mobile app for the Innovation Campus Lemgo (ICL). iplus1 delivered the backend and published it under an open source license.
iplus1 developed the backend for the ICLMobil apps, which bring together mobility offerings with everyday information that a campus needs:
- Shared eBike booking
- Public transport planning
- Car pooling with RRive
- Campus news curated by the ICL e.V.
- Food & Drinks on campus
- Gamification to encourage trying out the mobility offerings
The ICLMobil project
The ICLMobil project was a joint project of
- iplus1
- Fraunhofer IOSB-INA
- Institute for Design Strategies at the TH OWL
- Innovation Campus Lemgo e.V.
- RRive
The project started in 2024 and concluded in September 2025 with the successful launch of the productive backend instance and both the iOS and Android apps in their respective app stores.

iplus1 delivered the mobility solution for the campus
iplus1 was responsible for architecting and developing the backend infrastructure tying together all the services and offerings into a coherent API that is now consumed by the mobile apps.
The backend is published under an open source license and can be found at https://gitlab.i.iplus1.de/pa/iclmobil-backend.
